Rick Péwé Gets Letters on Welding and Spelling!Premier Welder To The Rescue I enjoyed your "Welding on the Run" article in the May '10 issue. A Premier welder has saved our day on many trails over the years. I finished reading your article just prior to the Tierra Del Sol Desert Safari. Then, while on the TDS run, I came upon Rick Péwé performing a trail fix using the new Premier welder. I guess this was a real example of welding "on the run." I'm sure the new welder met your expectations and got the broken rig moving again. Thanks from all the wheelers you've helped over the years. You've got a great mag, and I look forward to every issue. Tom Armstrong Chino, CA

Off-Road NewsThe $2 Jeep You read that right. Our friends at the California Association of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs are once again raffling a well-modified Jeep. This hopped-up Wrangler Rubicon could be yours for just the two-buck cost of a raffle ticket. Among the parts you'll find on this sweepstakes Jeep are a TeraFlex short-arm lift kit, BFGoodrich Mud-Terrains on ProComp wheels, a Warn winch, a Hi-Lift jack, a Bestop bikini top, Poison Spyder body armor, PIAA lights, and much, much more. The association is taking the Jeep to several West Coast events this summer, and you can register when you see it or log on to www.cal4wheel.com to buy your tickets. Insurance Advice, One Final FJ vs. JK comment & More! Two Plugs Per Engine? Just for your information, on page 83 of July '10 ("Super Duty Super Hauler"), the lower right caption 4 reads: "The new 6.2L gas engine is no slouch. The engine features two plugs per engine." I hope you meant two plugs per cylinder as I had in my Mercedes Benz ML320. Please get back to me on this, and best of luck always, and God bless. Love your magazine. I have pictures of a Jeep I built with a 360ci motor and builtup transmission-it was scary how much power it had with a mild cam. Gary Ritzke via 4wheeloffroad.com

Wheel Bolt Correction, Jeep Enthusiast, and More!Tire Chart Woes I was just reading "Wheel Bolt Patterns" in your Apr. '10 issue. You may want to reexamine some of your info regarding the '69-'09 Blazer/Jimmy/Tahoe/Yukon (fullsize). I think you will discover that it should be 6-on-51/2 and not the 8-on-61/2 you have printed. I cannot recall ever seeing a single eight-lug factory K-5 Blazer or Jimmy. Other than that, keep up the great magazine. Blake Haulsee Taneytown, MD
